DISABILITY MINISTRY

Minister to those with unique challenges ….  We’re blessed to partner with and serve thousands of California ministries and non-profits as they reach out to and serve their communities. Below you’ll find some of the organizations we find most inspiring.

We’re really excited about the Joni and Friends International Disability Center. Joni Eareckson Tada and her friends are doing great work with those affected by disability. Joni and friends train, disciple, and mentor people with disability to help them use their leadership and abilities to serve their churches and communities. Joni has been working for over 30 years to advance disability ministry and provide global outreach to those in the disability community. Check out their Upcoming Events page to see what they’ve got planned and learn about how you and your ministry can help.

Have you heard about ICANLA? This is a ministry that has been serving individuals with disabilities and their families for over 35 years. They do this through faith based social and recreational activities as well as pairing these individuals with businesses that want to give these special people a place to work. Take a few minutes to check out their media page to get to know this amazing group. A church with a special needs ministry, or as it's better known, a disability ministry, must take care to serve the unique needs of this community and we’ve found some great resources for you here and here.

Special Needs Resources

We serve you so you can serve others. That purpose takes us beyond just selling insurance policies.  We know that if your staff and volunteers are properly screened, trained and organized and if your church provides a safe environment for your activities – your ministry will have a higher success rate.
